Our mission is to provide collaborative evaluation, education, therapy and family support services so that young children can develop to their full potential and with their families and friends as members of the community.
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Worker to complete the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the school building/facility, including but not limited to, general building maintenance, grounds keeping, HVAC, building lighting systems, housekeeping, security, overall facility appearance, provides oversight of fire apparatus and others.
Responsibilities:
Inspect school building/facility periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance issues Housekeeping:
cleaning throughout the day Plumbing repairs Electrical repairs Roofing repairs Painting Tiling Lighting Renovations Maintain schools' overall security, including oversight of fire apparatus, such as fire drills and inspections Ordering and receiving food and paper products Other duties as assigned Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Professional certifications (e.
g.
CMRP or HVAC certified), preferred Minimum of 3 years of related experience Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.
) Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations Excellent planning and leadership abilities Detail orientated Excellent communication and interpersonal skills FDNY CAT.
F07 & CAT.
S95 a must Must be able to work flexible hours and over-time if needed Applicant resides in Queens, NY (preferably) Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$60,000.
